Wow, so just like alt it was closed inappropriately. Reading through  
Ian’s message on this, it is a clear example of what I'm talking about  
with Ian. The need for a summary attribute is clear to anyone who  
takes the time to investigate the issue. If Ian  doesn't understand  
it, he should try engaging in discussions with those of us who do  
understand it. I'm sure that after a few back and for email exchanges,  
Ian will start to get it.

However, Ian is so afraid of saying I don't understand something  
meaning there's something to be understood that he doesn't  
understand). Instead he simply says I don't understand something  
meaning there's nothing to that something. It would only be  
embarrassing to watch if he also wasn't  placed in a position of  
authority where he's enabled to undermine the accessibility of web  
content and daily life for the users who need these facilities.
